Trying to find pillars of one's musical memories is not easy.
Many artists and songs have affected my 'in progress' taste and traits, although, in truth, I believe that inceptive listening are very important for each other's growth. To mention some of them:
Woody Guthrie,
with This Land is Your Land,
The Byrds,
with Turn Turn Turn and their version of
Mr. Tambourine Man by Bob Dylan,
Crosby Stills Nash and Young and their version of
Woodstock
by Joni Mitchell,
Marrakesh Express,
Blackbirds,
Teach Your Children,
but the same Neil Youngself, with
Heart of Gold, Old Man,
Harvest,
and the whole Woodstock '69's generation,
con Bob Dylan and his
Blowing in the Wind and
Times They Are A’changin’
that recalls the nonviolent movement from America with
We Shall Overcome sang
by Joan Baez and
Where have all the Flowers Gone by
Pete Seeger the magnificent
Joni Mitchell whose listening procured me a series of lumps in throat, like, from Blue, the wonderful
A Case of You that, with no coincidence, is added in our
Songs we Love. At present I pretty often like to listen to
Joni Mitchell's orchestrate version of
Both Sides Now
dated 2000, where I love to contemplate the evolution of the mature artist having an intense impact interpretation. Great!! After that I proceed with
Janis Joplin,
Cry Baby,
Me and Bobby Mc Gee,
